Many of our conventional practices have been greatly influenced and changed by these advancements in various technological fields through the outcome of the research & development initiatives. The convergence of the progress in several fields are playing an entwining role in modern day lives. The International Conference on Electronics & Information Technology Convergence (EITC 2006) is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the information technology/electronics/computer science systems along with their applications and impact on the benefits of the Society as a whole.
